Entertainment, Suites Design and ‘Loyal To You Always’ Travel Agent Website Among Top Honors

MIAMI, Oct. 11, 2016 – Royal Caribbean International has been recognized with 24 Travel Weekly Magellan Awards in the annual international competition honoring the best brands in the travel industry and the travel professionals behind them. The cruise line received 10 prestigious Gold Awards – five for standout cruise marketing efforts, including the hugely popular Loyal To You Always travel partner website, three for game-changing onboard amenities and entertainment, including Harmony of the Seas’ one-of-a-kind ice-skating show 1887: A Journey in Time, and two recognizing leading programs, the University of WOW educational resource for travel agents and the Crown & Anchor Society guest loyalty program.

The global cruise line also was awarded 14 Silver Awards; eight were in the cruise marketing category, including honors for the SeaViews blog and the Royal Caribbean Press Center. Other Silver Award winners include Ovation of the Seas in the Contemporary Ship category, Harmony’s two-deck Wonderland for Restaurant Design and Royal Caribbean’s Espresso travel agent reservation system.
